Dear Belfast Families,

We had an awesome Winterfest Carnaval yesterday. This was our first time hosting this event, and it was so much fun, with perfect weather to match! If you have not already checked out the pictures on Instagram, I encourage you to do so — there are some wonderful and funny moments captured.

Yesterday, I also had the privilege of hosting a Blanket Exercise for parents and staff. It was a wonderful group of people who came together to unlearn and relearn about our country’s history. Thank you to everyone who attended and demonstrated a commitment to learning alongside your children.

Thank you to Ms. Dumas for covering Ms. West’s leave over the past few months. We wish Laura Dumas all the best as she transitions into her next role. We are very pleased to welcome back Charis West to our LEAD class at Belfast School.
