Winterfest Carnival – Inspired by Québec’s Carnaval

Taking place next Thursday

Students will participate in our Winterfest Carnival, inspired by Québec’s famous winter celebration!

Highlights include:

  • A visit to the Sugar Shack for a delicious maple treat
  • Fun winter games
  • Special visits from Bonhomme
  • Many other engaging activities

This event celebrates two important parts of Canadian identity:

  • Vibrant Francophone culture
  • Embracing active living during the winter months

Outdoor Time

Students will be outside from 10:00–11:30 AM.

It is very important that students come dressed appropriately for the weather, including:

  • Warm winter coat
  • Toque
  • Mittens
  • Snowpants
  • Winter boots

Ramadan Consideration

If your child is fasting for Ramadan, their maple treat will be stored in the freezer and sent home after school so they may enjoy it when they break their fast.

For more information about Carnaval, please watch the short video linked here.
