Dear Families, 

As we approach the long weekend, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your partnership and support. Together, we create a safe, caring, and welcoming school community where students can learn and thrive. 

We recognize that not all families observe Thanksgiving and that this weekend may hold different meanings and traditions for each of us. Whether you are celebrating, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying a chance to rest, we wish you a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable long weekend. 

SportHub Volleyball and Mindful Moments with YW 

We’re off to a great start with volleyball! This week, SportHub worked with our students through a volleyball residency, helping them develop important skills such as proper technique, form, and teamwork. 

Our Grade 4-6 students have also begun their Mindful Moments workshops with the YW, where they are learning simple mindfulness strategies to support their well-being and success throughout the school day. 

We look forward to continuing both of these valuable learning opportunities with students over the coming weeks. 

Family Support Message 

We understand that families may face financial challenges from time to time. Through school and community partnerships, limited support may be available for essentials such as winter clothing and food assistance for families experiencing need. Families who qualify for a central fee waiver may also be eligible for some of these supports. 

If your family would benefit from assistance, please contact the school office. All inquiries will be handled respectfully and confidentially. Our goal is to ensure every student has what they need to be safe, comfortable, and ready to learn. 

Completing Demographic Verification Forms  

This is an important reminder to complete the demographic verification process online through your MyCBE account. There are still several outstanding verification forms that need to be completed. We appreciate your attention to this.
