This week the modular unit from Belfast School will begin to be relocated to its new home. At this time, you can expect the following:  

• Between May 6 and May 7, a section of the chain-link fence along 17A Street NE will be removed and replaced with temporary construction fencing. This is to facilitate the removal of the modular unit from the site. 
• On May 8, the modular will be detached from its current location and moved to the south portion of school yard adjacent to the chain-link fence on 17A St NE. The modular will be fenced off for safety while it is staged for pick up and removal.  
• Between May 8 and May 12, all students will enter and exit out the front doors while the modular is in the staging area. 
• On May 12, the modular will be relocated to its new home overnight (May 12 – 13).  
• The area where the modular was located will remain fenced off until all work is completed.  Remediation efforts will include new asphalt paving and any necessary landscaping restoration. 

Student and staff safety remains our top priority. The construction area will be securely fenced, and all work during school hours will be carefully managed to minimize disruptions.
