Dear Belfast Families,

Today we hosted our Remembrance Day ceremony, and it was wonderful to see so many families join us. Thank you to Mr. Ursenbach for organizing this beautiful ceremony for our school.

For the first time, the CBE is having a fall break, from November 10-14, and schools will be closed during this time. Please remember that tomorrow, November 9, is also a PD Day, so there is no school for students tomorrow as all CBE staff will be engaged in Indigenous learning.

We hope that your family is able to spend time together during this break, and that your children return to school on Wednesday, November 15 feeling refreshed and ready for more learning!

We encourage all our families to follow our school’s Instagram account (@BelfastSchoolcbe) and visit our school website to see pictures from the week.

Belfast Parent Fundraising Society: New Fundraising Initiative

The Belfast Parent Fundraising Society is trying something new! In an effort to maximize the impact of our fundraising initiatives and make it more convenient for everyone, we have decided to focus on one major fundraiser for this school year. Click HERE  for more information. Your support is valuable and appreciated. Please note that this fundraiser replaces smaller fundraisers throughout the year.

Alien In-line Skating Begins November 15

We are so excited for all classes to participate in inline skating! Thank you so much to the volunteers who are helping us out, and thank you to School Council and the Belfast Parent Fundraising Society for this wonderful opportunity for our students!

School Conferences

We will be having student/parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, November 23 from 4:00-8:00 and Friday, November 24 from 8:30-12:00. Bookings will open November 17 – stay tuned for more information. Please note that LEAD classes will have modified conference schedules due to interpreter availability.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have anything you would like to share.

Have a wonderful break,
