Lacrosse Next Week
Next week, students will experience lacrosse in their physical education classes due to our collaboration with Elev8 Lacrosse.
Elev8 Lacrosse is also hosting a FREE Lacrosse clinic on May 11 for any student interested in joining a lacrosse program. Check out this link.
Opera Update
We are right on track for our Opera production! This week, the technician for the opera, Brett, came in to plan the sound and lighting for the production. Starting in May, the director, Claire, will spend many days at Belfast working with the lead cast and classes to perfect their scores. Please plan to attend one of our two shows:
- Wednesday, June 5 – Matinee at 1:30
 - Thursday, June 6 – Evening performance at 6:30

Just as we did with the winter concert, we plan for immediate family (roughly two tickets per student) to attend the evening performance; all extended family should attend the matinee performance. We would be so disappointed to have to turn people away from the evening performance, and ask for your support in adhering to this plan.
Reminder: School Council, Snacks, and Free Babysitting? Yes, please!
Belfast School Council is excited to invite you to the April 30 meeting. Doors will open at 6:15 PM with the meeting starting promptly at 6:30. There will be light refreshments for the adults during the meeting. You can bring your children and they will watch a movie - “Wish” - with certified babysitters during the meeting. Please RSVP no later than Sunday at noon to belfastparentcouncil@gmail.com., and include the number and ages of the children who will attend. Please remember the expectation is that parents attend the meeting while their children watch the movie.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have anything you would like to share.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Meagan Lundgren
Principal
